  • Job Summary

    Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Donor Care Coordinator will contribute to the overall success of Wounded Warrior Project and the Resource Development team by providing an unparalleled donor experience. In addition, the coordinator will act as a front line liaison with the Resource Development team identifying opportunities for donor customer experience improvements, process improvements, and database enhancements necessary for effective fundraising and an enhanced donor experience.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Receive and respond, in a timely manner, to all donor requests via phone, email, and mail providing the donor with an unparalleled donor experience
    • Assist Resource Development team in identifying, developing, and improving processes that enhance the donor experience leading to greater donor loyalty and support
    • Import data accurately into the donor database
    • Respond to and diagnose improvements through discussions with the fundraising team including recognition, research, resolution and follow-up steps
    • Motivate donors to maximize fundraising
    • Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of the Resource Development team and Wounded Warrior Project
    • Complete special projects as assigned
    • Other related duties as assigned

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum of three (3) years of business experience in nonprofit setting or customer service environment required
    • Minimum one (1) year experience using Microsoft Office Programs, MS Word, Outlook, MS Excel required
    • Minimum two (2) years’ experience using donor and/or customer database software required
