Job Summary

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Executive Assistant, CPO is responsible for supporting Wounded Warrior Project’s (WWP) Chief Programs Officer (CPO). The executive assistant will support the in areas such as completion of special projects and reports, calendar management and scheduling, preparation for and reporting on meetings, correspondence, filing, telephones, travel logistics and other special events and duties as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate schedules and update calendar’s accordingly
  • Arrange all travel logistics associated with other activities and demands
  • Assist in the coordination and planning of WWP related events and projects
  • Draft, prepare, distribute and follow-up with various correspondence
  • Prepare expense reimbursements in a timely manner
  • Assist in preparing presentations
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries and respond as appropriate
  • Assist with errands and projects
  • Participate in other activities at the discretion of management
  • Manage all day to day administrative tasks
  • Compile and coordinate Scorecard reporting
  • Assist and coordinate budgeting process
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.

 

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years prior experience in an administrative support role required 
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior experience supporting executive or senior executive level staff required
  • Nonprofit experience preferred
